We aim to deliver the products within 7 to 28 working days beginning when the item arrives into stock with us (unless you and we agree otherwise or you exercise your right to cancel our contract before we arrange delivery and/or performance).

Due to the items we stock from various suppliers and manufacturers lead times for items vary from in stock to 4 weeks, some items such as Sofas, Chairs and Bespoke Made to Order can take up to 12 weeks please contact us via email on or call 01642 309 640 to discuss timescales for particular items prior to placing an order if this is required quickly.

Due to our vast amount of orders, in some cases the IN-STOCK may show false information until updated. Please check with our sales team prior to ordering if the product is available immediately as the leadtime then will be dependant on our resupply and may fall into the 4-8 weeks bracket. We apologise in advance if this happens.

We deliver to UK Mainland only via our website, we can arrange delivery further afield including the EU, this would have to be discussed with one of our sales advisers on 01642 309 640. However, in certain circumstances not all products selected can be delivered to your delivery address we will email you to discuss any issues with delivery.

As soon as we have delivered the products to you, you will be responsible for them, including any damage that may occur to them.

Please note that a signature will be required on all deliveries. If the item arrives damaged please point any damage out to the delivery driver on the day of delivery before signing for your item. You must ensure all damage is noted both on the drivers and your documents and ensure the delivery driver has signed both. This will help to identify where any damage to the product occurs.

The products will only be owned by you once we have received payment in full.

Methods of Delivery

The first delivery method available is via our own delivery team. Experienced with handling the items we stock this service offers a much more personal touch. Your postcode location will be routed into a multi-drop run, a delivery date agreed with yourself, and the driver will call 1 hour prior to arrival. The timescale for this service is from one week up to four weeks depending on location and between the hours of 8am and 8pm on your day of delivery. If you require the items to be brought into your home we can also provide this service, but please note all items will only be delivered to the ground floor of your property unless previously arranged prior to dispatch (if you live in an apartment etc. your floor is classified as ground floor regardless if it is many floors up).

- The second being via courier using wooden pallets or boxed package (a flat transport platform that supports goods in a stable fashion while being lifted by forklift etc.) which can be as fast as a next day service. With delivery via package or pallet your items will be delivered as close to the front of your property that the driver can get.


All damages must be reported within 3 days as per contract agreement on accepting the delivery, under no circumstances can we replace damaged goods if not reported within this timeframe due to our procedures in place and the requirement to report the issue to our manufacturer. 

Build Up Service

Turnbull and Thomas offer a build up service on our larger products, If you wish to make use of this service the cost per item will be £50. The Items will be built in a room of your choice and all packaging removed and returned via our build up team. Smaller products can also be built up for you but please call sales and ask for a price quoting the product code, payment must be made before delivery is arranged when items arrive in stock.

Delivery Costs

Delivery is FREE above £250* to the Majority of Mainland UK addresses. Items are sent extremely well packaged and are delivered either our own designated delivery team or by courier transport. Deliveries made by courier are doorstep to doorstep deliveries by a one man delivery service.

*Please note that the FREE* delivery terms apply to the majority of UK Mainland postcodes. For orders not amounting to this total a automatic delivery charge will be added at checkout dependant on Basket Value of your order. For Scottish Islands and postcodes situated in remote areas will incur additional surcharge,  KW, IV, AB, PA, PH, TR, PL, HS, SA. This will be calculated after you have placed your order we will contact you directly to discuss these costs, if you are unhappy with this charge then an immediate refund will be made, or a delivery address may be changed by you the customer to a Mainland Postcode

A £5.99 delivery charge for a basket value up to £39.99

A £7.99 delivery charge for a basket value between £40.00 and £69.99

A £9.99 delivery charge for a basket value between £70 and £99.99

A £14.99 delivery charge for a basket value between £100.00 and £199.99

A £19.99 delivery charge for a basket value between £200.00 and £249.99

Certain Products within our Ranges can be delivered to Ireland & Northern Ireland, please call sales to discuss the products and confirm the they can be shipped before purchasing.

We will keep all our customer updated with the progress on their orders on a 21 days basis via email if provided at point of order.

Depending on the size and weight of your goods, they will either be delivered by courier or by a 1 or 2 man delivery team, these options will be discussed in detail at time of arranging your delivery.
